FAQ

What should my child wear?

  • All hair that is shoulder length or longer should be in a ponytail- regardless of age or gender!
  • Bare feet (grippy socks allowed) – no footed tights please as they are very slippery on some of the equipment.
  • Boys– Comfortable clothing such as T-shirt, shorts, sweatpants etc. We just ask that there be no buttons or zippers, and nothing too baggy for safety reasons!
  • Girls– While a leotard is preferred for girls, rec students are welcome to wear comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt, shorts, or leggings, etc. We just ask that there be no buttons or zippers, and nothing too baggy for safety reasons! No skirts or dresses allowed.

***NOTE*** NO exposed midriffs – this is imperative for spotting! This includes two-piece leotards and sports bras without a T-shirt.

What should we bring to class?

It is recommended that all students bring a water bottle. Team students may bring a small NUT FREE snack.

Can adult watch?

Adults are welcome to stay and watch but must do so from our waiting room that looks out into the entire gym. No parents, caregivers, or siblings will be allowed out into the gym. (with the exception of Open Gym where an adult is required to go out in the gym with child)

Do I have to stay for my child’s entire class?

Parents are not required to stay during their child, they are welcome to leave to run errands, take care of other siblings’ activities, or maybe even get a moment to themselves! (with the exception of Open Gym where an adult is required to stay and be out in the gym with child)
